Mark
admits breaking with journalistic tradition by being a
workaholic, rather than an alcoholic. He is still slaving over a
hot computer on various other book projects, the topics of whish
are described by his agent as “wildly varied and whacky but
amazing”. Obviously, The
A-Z of Names in Rock will at some stage see a new edition,
which will be completely updated and expanded.
And – without giving away too much - there’s books about fame and names, on Bono’s rock politics, Sir John Tavener’s music, on popular culture, another on student life, cars, English as she is spoke, new media and the politics of the arts. Watch this space - or if you are a publisher email Mark’s agent – follow this link.
Mark divides his time between houses in London and Herefordshire, where he
is usually to be found busy annoying the neighbourhood trying to wear out
his favourite CDs.
