Much of Mark’s
time is spent helping to run Europe’s fastest-growing
satellite TV station, Bloomberg,
Bloomberg is
broadcast 24 hours a day in more than 10 channels to millions of
homes, hotels and offices, It is available around the world with
its main production centres in London, Paris, Frankfurt, New
York and Tokyo.
As Assignment
Editor in London, Mark organises coverage of breaking news for
business, finance, money, markets and more. The London operation
covers six channels: one pan-European and the others in English,
French, German, Italian and Spanish.
Mark’s M.A.,
from St. Catherine’s College, Oxford University, is in
Philosophy, Politics and Economics. A winner of a Kitchener
Scholarship, Workman Exhibition and the Gladstone essay prize,
he also produced a thesis on the House of Lords and went on to
more postgraduate work at City University in London.
He is
currently struggling to fit in the completion of a doctoral
thesis on new media, in the pipeline for what seems like
decades,
A founder
director of the British Media Consultancy, Mark has a range of
